Valerie Akujobi J.D
Valerie Akujobi is lawyer who is passionate about serving her clients. Whether in Court or at the negotiating table, Valerie is ready to protect your interests and advise at each step of the way.
Serving clients in Ottawa, Eastern Ontario and Toronto, Valerie has appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice and Divisional Court, as well as before various administrative tribunals.
For her articles, Valerie served as a Judicial Law Clerk, providing research and editing assistance to judges of the Superior Court of Justice in Ontario in the areas of family law, criminal law, and civil litigation. She also summered as a law student at a leading national firm.
Valerie holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Ottawa, graduating cum laude with a specialization in Alternative Dispute Resolution. She also holds a Bachelor of Journalism and Legal Degree from Carleton University, graduating with High Honours. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Valerie worked in the public sector as a communications specialist, leading portions of innovative and award winning projects of national scope.
Aisha Farid
Aisha is an Associate Lawyer at VTA Law Professional Corporation. She has a keen interest in family law, wills and estates, and real estate transactions.
Aisha graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2022 with a Civil Licentiate in Law (LL.L) and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) in 2023. Called to the Bar in 2024, she brings fresh perspectives and a strong commitment to providing personalized legal solutions.
She is dedicated to excellence, client satisfaction, and has a passion for advocacy.
Outside of the courtroom, she is a published author and enjoys writing, swimming, and hiking.
